We are in the middle of a deep freeze, we do live in Minnesota so you would think we would be prepared for it. The subzero temps have found us much earlier this year… Shivering as we hustle and bustle… To and fro… Preparing for the upcoming holidays.
Racing against time and frostbite… We snuggle in a dream…
Dream of warmer temps… Dream of the summer sun as it warms your heart and soul. Dreaming of sitting on my lawn creating happily as the birds serenade me.
Sweet Dream Necklace available today by emailing me at CherishDesigns@live.com. First come, first serve.
I hope you stay warm and cozy and dream happy dreams! 🙂 Kris
Wowzer! I am not sure where the time has gone! The first week of school slipped by so quickly, bustling with activity.
The weekend passed in a frenzy… Two days of hockey for Ky, back to back boys choir rehearsal for Sawyer, lots of running!
Here we are Monday morning with a heat advisory… 98% humidity and a projected heat index of 103 degrees.
I have some really cool pictures from the weekend, but am having some tech trouble, so I will show them as soon as I get it figured out!
Have a happy Monday! Stay cool!
Happy Birthday to my sweet and amazing son Sawyer today! Fourteen years ago, 6 1/2 weeks early, 6 lbs, 9 oz and only 2 weeks in NICU!! You would never know today, I am so proud of you! He fills our life with happiness, beautiful music and joy!
He was a little sad to have his birthday on the first day of school! I know he will have a great day!
The series of first day of school pictures was hilarious this morning. Kya and Sawyer crashed and then ended up taking my favorite photo!
I am feeling a tad lonely this morning, I miss them already!
I am excited to be able to focus on my jewelry, sometimes I wonder if I got more done when I was working!
Well, better workout so I can get my day started!
May your day be filled with happiness!
I got the sweetest request from our friend to commission a gift for their 15 year wedding anniversary. 15 years is Crystal and rather than give her a gift of glassware, he wanted to commission something special for her. Something that she can wear and enjoy!
I was very honored and pulled out my stash of crystals. He selected Citrine Quartz Crystals. I created this necklace for them. He wanted the crystals to be the focus so I kept the wirework fairly simple. I also created simple drop earrings to match.
I hope she loves this gift for her! It was such a sweet and thoughtful choice. G & J, I hope you had the most amazing anniversary yesterday and a gazillion years to come!
Hope you have a happy day!
I am excited to share my trove of treasures with you today!
Well, I should say some of them. Some of them I sorted into containers before I took photos … And I forgot to take a pic of the huge button stash I added to my trove.
This is a pretty fair glimpse of my goodies though!
My fingers are itching to create, but they will have to wait as I will be volunteering in the pizza stand today at the parish festival. Last night I had fun selling beer tickets.
I created on the way home… Happy with this one using a cool buckle from Paris.
These goodies make my heart sing! I really hit the motherlode on keys!
And the amazing variety of vintage pearls actually filled my vintage pickle jar! Pure happiness!
Okay! I better get rolling! I hope you have a happy day!
I am super excited to pick up the chick-a-doodle from camp this morning… It has been a hectic summer of travels and camps for my kids…
So excited to reunite our family today! I love them beyond the moon and the stars!!
A gorgeous sunrise greeted us as we hit the road this morning!
Have a fantabulous day!
