Remembering & Honoring

Sawyer was asked by the Mayor of St. Cloud to sing during 10 year anniversary program honoring the innocent lives lost and honoring the men and women who serve and protect our country.

Here is a link to the video… He was very honored to be a part of the ceremony. It is a pretty proud moment to watch your 12 year old be a part of ceremony of so much importance. Here is the you tube video, you may have to copy and paste it.

Thank you to all who protect us and allow us be free!

Our lives changed on that day, most of us will never forget where we were on that fateful day. Our hearts go out to the almost 3,000 people who lost their lives on that day and the impact it had on their families and friends.

Today we Remember and Honor… Emergency Responders and servicemen… We are thankful to be free! 🙂 Kris

Fair on a stick

We enjoyed on of the hottest (sweltering) days to enjoy the Minnesota State Fair on Thursday… Sawyer my 11 year old, qualified for the semi-finals for the talent show… He sang Amazing Grace A Capella, he did a wonderful job. For some reason, I can’t get the video of his performance to load, but here is the link to his audition. We are so incredibly proud of him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhC3q7_YwPE&feature=youtube_gdata_player

While he didn’t win, we are proud that he made the semi-finals and had an amazing time at the fair!

Food on a stick is what the fair is known for and our family enjoyed Spaghetti on a Stick, Bacon on a stick, lobster, egg roll, and walleye.

We rode the space needle to the top and our kids enjoyed some of the wild rides at the fair.

Of course I brought jewelry supplies to create enroute and while we were waiting.

It was a fun filled day with Gram & Gramps, & Hud and our friend Shelby. 🙂 thanks to Duane & Brigid who stopped by to hear Sawyer sing :-)!

Have an Amazing Day!!

Have an Amazing Day, & a Special Happy 12th Birthday Sawyer! You Light Up Our Life!
