Well… As the spring sports wind down… Seven activities for three children is a bit much…
We are allowed an opportunity to breathe. Yes! It feels good.
The Wind Up for my show this weekend is added pressure! Fun pressure because I love what I do!
I rarely do shows… Only because our lives are so busy, but I love them! I love connecting with my customers! I love seeing you sport my creations and try them on. You guys are the best! I hope I will see many of you this weekend at the Olde Depot JUNKtion.
I made a fun supply of bracelets for the weekend!
Some pearls and lace…
A little bit of filigree…
A pretty fun variety… All of them adjustable.
I hope you can join us!
Gosh, I missed you guys. How have you been?
Life gets so busy and I sure did let time slip away.
I have been busy creating.
Creating centers me… Brings me joy.
I have been creating a long time… In one form or another since I was young. I found this pair of earrings that I created, I was thinking it was the early nineties, but my Roomie remembers me creating similar jewelry in the late 80’s! WOWZERS. That really dates me.
When you look at these earrings, keep in mind the big hair that complemented them oh let’s say about 26 years ago! Ha! I guess that makes them vintage!
I know you want a pair, but I regret to inform you that the eighties bandwagon has passed, COL (Chuckling Out Loud!!).
I also created a necklace and earring set for a special friend with her Great Grandma’s gorgeous set of jewelry.
I had so much to work with… And I am so lucky to be able to create, add balance and bring joy.
I have been creating some super special Mother’s Day gifts, but will have to wait until after the weekend to share!
I hope your day is filled with joy and balance!
Poor little birdies singing in the trees must be too c.c.cold to sing this morning as the wind whips and the clouds pose the ominous threat of 6 to 10 inches of snow!
As you know, I celebrate winter… It is stunningly beautiful… Sometimes I make myself find the beauty when I am yearning for sunshine. Yearning for the feeling of grass on my bare feet and the laughter from our kids playing outdoors.
I guess you could call the stark, colorless view pretty.
If you are really reaching, you might find the beauty of the snow sifting in the cracks…
You may even find the gently falling snow relaxing… Peaceful… Quiet…
Or you may just find it absolutely and utterly comical! That’s where I am at right now!
It is mid April! I realize that we live in Minnesota… Yes, it is a frozen tundra! However we look forward to our limited days of spring/summer weather. Sunshine and warmth, please come back to visit us!
Despite being chilly and cold, I have been creating!
Flutter By… A necklace that will be perfect with shorts and a tee… Not today tho!
A triangle of texture…
And a funky spoon with vintage rhinestones…
May you feel sunshine on your back today (not snow and wind!). Have a happy day!
It feels like this weekend is going to whiz past before it starts… The events on our calendar are a tad ominous… Thankfully it starts with an early out today. Here goes: Golf Qualifier, hockey, boys choir, hockey, hockey fundraiser, more hockey, boys choir mass, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse. Sleep? Maybe!
It should be a very fun weekend and before we know it we will be back to Monday!
Last night was the first softball game of the season. Ky totally shocked me because she got a 3 run homerun on her first hit of the season.
Ha! She caught me off guard!
I made quite a few faith related necklaces for some wholesale orders…
I hope you have a relaxing weekend!
Time seems to pass so quickly lately. After Thursdays late start due to more snow….
We are happily enjoying sunshine, melting snow and springlike weather.
I have been on a creative frenzy!
Creating and creating…
I have filled some wholesale orders and done a little destashing.
A lot of my time has been spend with my children racing (and I mean racing) back and forth to activities. My three children are in a total of 7 activities this spring. But truly, I would alway rather be busy than bored!
Enjoy your beautiful day!
Wow, it has been a while my friends! Life has been crazy, fun, wild and a little out of control!
Our kids activities have been consuming generous amounts of our time… It has been so much fun watching them play, grow, excel and learn.
Kya’s hockey team has won their second tournament and is currently first in district play… They have a few important games coming up and then playoffs begin.
The first JO volleyball tournament is this weekend.
Sawyer has been enjoying the Swim Team. Last week he had his highest score ever with a 10 point gain! Fun celebrations!! It has been a bit of a challenge for him this year as he is diving varsity and so he is missing some boys choir rehearsals. It is all about balance though.
Keegan is enjoying Ski Club and Archery along with snowmobiling any chance he gets.
I have been working mostly on products that I can’t show you right now on my blog. I am sorry, I hope to show you soon!
I am also doing a fundraiser for our hockey team… Creating Hockey Mom necklaces. One Mom asked me to create this necklace for her too! I might have to make myself one!
It is double sided.
Yesterday I started having another episode of vertigo… So I am slow moving today. Ugh! I don’t really have time to be slow moving!
Onward and upward! Hope you are having a joyful day!
I bet you thought I was frozen!!! I am sorry you haven’t heard from me for a few days!
We are on day two of frigid sub zero temps caused by a polar vortex. Our governor cancelled schools statewide, churches and some businesses have been closed yesterday. No school today for the second day!
With 46 degrees below zero windchill, it is a perfect day to stay bundled and cozy in our homes.
This weekend was Sawyer’s 8th grade rite of passage to have the baby for the weekend! Three nights of newborn crying, feeding and diapers. He started off multitasking.
Sharing Comments like “I am waaaay too young to have a baby!”
He also discovered that it is impossible to sleep and feed a baby at the same time. FYI, it is not a real baby, the baby is computerized to act like a real baby! Put school had 12 babies and every student in eighth grade gets to experience what it is like to care for a baby. We are so thankful to have Sawyer’s behind us!! Two down, one more to go!
Now that the holidays are over, I can start sharing some of the custom orders that were surprises.
This necklace I created with a family keepsake, her Grandma’s brooch. I love how it turned out, the brooch is the star and the supporting elements help the brooch shine!
I hope you are staying warm and cozy through the frigid temps!
