The past week has been a flurry of activity…
Kya’s hockey team secured their spot to advance to Regions in three games last weekend. I think Kya had one of her best games ever with two goals and two assists in a 4-0 win. Pretty Sweet. They have one more game to determine District Playoff Champs and first or second seed on Sunday morning. Keeping our fingers and toes crossed!
Kya is also at the end of her History Day project, a doozy of a project and we will be celebrating when she turns it in. This project takes months and we are so grateful that it is our last one!!
I have been having fun “Instagraming it up” lately! I love it because it is pretty quick to post and it is very visual.
My account is KrisLanae, here is a photo of the True Love Infinity bracelet I posted today.
I had fun making this bracelet… It is a double wrap chain bracelet with a hand stamped key, wirework and a few other funky elements.
I posted it in my etsy shop here: ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/179945564/true-love-infinity-double-wrap-hand )
I hope your day is filled with joy!
I made a bracelet similar to this last year and had another request for a personalized Mommy bracelet.
The names are hand stamped. The charms are bent to firm to the wrist and I measure out the links to create a double wrap bracelet. If you would like to custom order one, you can email me at CherishDesigns@live.com.
I still need to create one for myself! One of these days!
This morning I snuck out pretty early to shop for our feast. One of the things I have noticed that I still struggle with from my vertigo is that I seem to get nauseous from crowds. Not sure if it is the movement or people, but I am hoping it goes away soon. It has made me quite the homebody!
Well, I better get movin’, the list is long and the day is short!
Have an amazing day!
Today I have a full heart. I am so grateful for so many positives:
Keegan is making an incredible recovery, the last week has found me awestruck. He ditched the crutches and all pain meds by Tuesday, removed all of the stitches himself by Wednesday and yesterday went the full day without both boots. Seriously in awe of this kid. 🙂 Truly grateful for no surgeries in the horizon!
We are on our way to the last volleyball tourney of the season. It has been such a rewarding experience.
Looking forward to an incredible week. Hope you have a Heart Full too!
I created a custom Hockey Mom necklace as a custom order for my friend and fellow hockey Mom based on a necklace I created for myself this year with old coins and hand stamped words.
It started with the main focal that I hand stamped Hockey Mom on. The four holes were pre-drilled, so I added some funky swirls and a copper heart that I stamped the word LOVE on. I also hammered texture into the two pieces for added dimension.
I sourced three pre drilled old coins and stamped her children’s hockey jersey numbers on each coin.
I then added RIVER LAKES STARS onto a long bar and wired a star at the bottom.
Each element hangs individually so they can be worn all together or layered or worn individually. New charms can be added in the future as jersey numbers change through the years.
It was a fun necklace to create for a FUNtastic friend.
Have an amazing day!! 🙂 Kris
I created a personalized hand stamped bracelet for my sweet niece Bailey. She was so patient waiting for me to accomplish this.
It’s not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty sweet for her.
Hope you are enjoying your post holiday fun days!
Hello my friends!
Sorry, I missed you yesterday! I was busy filling orders so everyone who ordered on my holiday blast email sale will receive their orders prior to Christmas. Can I tell you how grateful I am for your love of my jewelry, to each of you who shopped my open house and my email sale! It fills my heart when I get such incredible compliments from you!
I only have a few orders left to fill before Christmas. I am so excited about the Mothers’s bracelet I made (Kris Lanae style!) that I have to share a sneak peek! I can’t show the entire thing, or Mom will have her surprise ruined. It was a little hard to photograph, but I love it so much, I am going to be making myself one!
This is all I can show you right now, but it has four names. I hand stamped each name on dark metal bases, I then formed them to properly fit the curve of the wrist. I hand wired crystals matching the birthstone for each child. I am in love with it! I cannot wait to hear this surprised Mom’s thoughts on it after she opens it!
I hope you have an incredible day! 🙂
