Saturday turned out to be an incredibly beautiful day…
The sun was shining and a fantastic number of people attended Craftstravaganza. I am grateful to my friends Linda and Hilary for a great time together and for giving me breaks through the day.
Here are a few photos of my display.
I enjoy combining architectural elements with dress forms and old bottles for a unique display.
It was an amazing day… I enjoy doing shows, meeting people and it thrills me to see what each person is drawn to.
I regret not taking more photos of the amazing vendors to show you. But I did get a few shots of a couple of my incredible helpers.
A quick pic of some of the muscle behind the scenes… Kya, pushing the cart with Keegan as a passenger…
Sawyer holding up a windmill blade.
It was fun to reconnect with friends established through the years and meet new friends.
Thank you to all my new customers and clients, it was a joy to meet you!
Tomorrow I look forward to showing you my Mothers day present!
Thanks for following my blog and liking my Facebook page! Have a great day! 🙂 Kris
The excitement builds… the anticipation of a great day.
I already know that it is going to be an incredible day… The caliber of arts and crafts in this show is amazing. I know of a few fellow vendors from The Creative Connection event are here… Hopefully i will have the chance to get photos of their booth spaces to share with you along with some of the other unique vendors. I hope you can attend Craftstravaganza!!! It’s here!!!
Two of my art & soul friends met me yesterday to help set up and connect over dinner, giggles and cackles. It was so much fun, we giggled like school girls! Thank you Linda and Hilary for joining me!
I hope your day brings joy in soulful friendships and family, some fun shopping (at Craftstravaganza 😉 ) and happiness as you enjoy your Saturday.
This might be one of my favorite photographs… I was trying to capture the sparkling colors of the crystals layered on top of the filigree.
I may not have been successful in capturing the colors, but I love the shadows of the swirled wire dancing on the dress form…
It is not advisable to photograph in direct sunlight, but I have to admit that I am smitten by the results.
The final photo does a better job of showcasing the necklace.
This necklace was a custom creation designed for a very special Mother’s Day gift for one of my clients.
I finally received my custom chain order… 300 glorious feet of textured black chain just in time for the St. Paul Craftstravaganza!
Hope you can join us! Have a fabulous sunny day!
Last night was the first ball game of the season… It was Chick-a-doodle playing softball. Let the games begin!!!
It was fun to see the girls working as a team playing softball together.
Of course I brought my supplies along. Pictured above is the first necklace of the softball season… Many more to come!
I only made one last night as it was a tad chilly. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, but the wind drove right through you! Brrrrr…
Today is Friday… I am having so much fun creating… Hanging out in sweats and creating to my hearts desire!
I would like to invite you to attend the Craftstravaganza on May 12, 2012 at the MN State Fairgrounds. I have more information posted here.
It is a juried event and I am very excited to be a part of it.
Have a happy weekend! 🙂
